Hey Reader, June is flying by, and Father's Day is this weekend already. Around here, that always means a weekend filled with cookouts and hanging with family. While my husband usually wants to man the grill (and hey - it's his weekend, he can do that!), I'm in charge of the marinades, plus all the sides and desserts. No matter who's cooking, get these faves on the menu. My Laid-Back Father’s Day CookoutDo you remember making Grilled Banana Boats when you were a kid? They are so much fun (and delicious) to eat - AND so easy to make. If you haven't made these in a while, this weekend is the perfect time. Miso-Glazed Chicken is one of the marinades I'm in charge of. It adds so much flavor to the chicken and is simple to prepare. Why not class it up? You've gotta have some sort of veggie to at least pretend like you're being healthy, right? Why not grill your veggies, too? I make Grilled Baby Bok Choy all the time. It's ridiculously fast to prep, and we never have leftovers. Yes, we all know the canned baked beans, but they're mushy and really not all that good. Try making Homemade Smoky Baked Beans for a rich, smoky, and easy-to-throw-together alternative that's perfect for whatever you toss on the grill. If you had to pick just one to make this Father’s Day, which one would it be?
